  3. Module Description
  4. -----------------
  5.      This module can be used to list running processes, set the front process and
  6. quit any/all processes.  Clicking on the module display will bring up a popup
  7. menu with a list of all running applications.  The process currently in front
  8. will be marked with a bullet (•).  Choosing one of these processes will cause
  9. that process to become the front-most process.
  10.      Holding down the shift key while choosing the module will display a similar
  11. list of applications, but in this case choosing one of them will cause that
  12. process to quit.  Choosing 'All but Finder' will cause all processes to be quit,
  13. leaving just the finder.  This is useful for quiting everything to free up memory
  14. for a large application or when memory becomes fragmented.  This option will quit
  15. _all_ processes including background processes such as the Express Modem, etc. 
  16. To quit just applications, choose the option 'All Applications'.
  17.  
  18. Limitations
  19. -----------
  20.      There are a couple of things to keep in mind when using the module.  First
  21. shutting down the processes requires the use of Apple Events.  This can only be
  22. done if the front-most application is capable of handling Apple Events.  For most
  23. applications this isn't a problem, but if you are using an older application you
  24. may have to switch to the Finder or other Apple Event aware application.

  26. Distribution
  27. ------------
  28.      This file can be freely distributed by online systems and individual BBS
  29. systems as long as the original package is distributed intact, including the
  30. documentation and registration information.  If you would like to distribute it
  31. for a fee on CD, disk or other media, please contact me for permission.

  34. ------------
  35.      This module is part of a package of modules that are distributed as
  36. shareware.  I ask for $10 to register any/all of the modules.  Please see the
  37. enclosed registration file for details.
